Technically, it's a study in contrast: rigid geometry against particulate chaos. The crown starts as a clean, hard-surface model — defined edges, a controlled gold material with enough specular hit to read as metal under LED lighting. The levitation phase is about restraint: subtle vertical drift, minimal rotation, just enough motion to signal "alive" without distracting. The dissolve is where the piece earns its keep — the crown's mesh breaking into a particle system, gold shading carried through each fragment so the material identity survives the transformation. Particle size, spread, and gravity needed careful tuning so the breakup reads as elegant disintegration rather than an explosion. Everything was rendered and then assembled in Premiere Pro with a seamless loop point, since it's built for continuous LED display — no hard cut, no visible seam, just a crown perpetually giving way to light.
